Scholarship Program
The IBHRE Scholarship Award has been developed to create an opportunity for professionals with limited access to certification resources. To assist allied professionals earning the Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) certification, IBHRE will provide up to three $1000 scholarship awards to be applied towards the registration cost (recipients will receive a discounted registration fee). In addition, a one-year membership to the Heart Rhythm Society will be awarded – membership is contingent upon review and meeting HRS membership requirements; a current non-member status of HRS is required to receive the complimentary membership.
The scholarship process will include the submission of an application, as well as a written endorsement by two IBHRE certified individuals as supporting documentation, and consideration of eligibility criteria by an IBHRE review panel. Submissions are evaluated based upon references, financial need, personal statement, and short-term and long-term career goals.
Earning certification requires passing a comprehensive computer-based examination that is based upon an international body of knowledge. Candidates must meet established eligibility criteria and have an excellent foundation in the field of device therapy and electrophysiology to earn certification.
The deadline to apply is May 31st. Submit applications to [email protected] or via fax at 1-877-386-1044.
