IBHRE currently offers three specialty certifications for allied professionals (ex: clinical practitioners, device technicians, manufacture representatives, nurses and physician assistants) which are each administered once a year. Exams offered are:
- Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS)
- Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
- Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist (CDRMS)
IBHRE also administers a Japanese-language Certified Cardiac Device Specialist - Japan Device Representative (CCDS-JDR) exam in collaboration with the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society.
